“The ST (Special Terrain) R.I.G.(Rapid Interchangeable Gear) is a lightweight Plate Carrier/Tactical Vest that is designed to accommodate standard issue square Cut/shooters Cut/swimmers cut plates.

This Special Terrain Tactical Plate Carrier Vest comes with an integrated universal triple magazine kangaroo pouch that accommodates all 3 calibre magazines. (5.56 x 45/7.62 x 39/7.62 x 51) The stretchable elastic dual band cummurbund is designed to hold 6 more magazines or alternately basic battle equipment such as radios/grenades/medical gear or a bottle of water.

The cummurbund comes in a reversable design which allows the user to chose between hook and loop fastening or quick clip buckles for faster donning and doffing. The vest also feature a hook and loop friction designed shoulder size adjuster that is doubled by a air mesh lined high density foam pad for added comfort and airflow during extended wear.

The S.T. R.I.G. tactical plate carrier vest is designed to be compact, lightweight and mission specific. The ergonomic design makes it ideal for quick reaction teams travelling in smaller vehicles. Built using high performance 1000D Nylon with dual coating of PU making it extremely competent against rough use and weathering. The thread and hook and loop used throughout the product are Nylon based and provide higher levels of performance compared to its polyester counterparts.

The vest is easy to use, easy to adjust and if required can be modified depending on the clients operational requirement.
